Auger Boring Technology
Auger Boring Applications - Auger Boring is used to run large diameter casings under railroads, highways and other obstacles. The large auger bit rotates and is pushed through the substrate with a casing. Once the casing is maxed out, another lenght of auger bit attached, another section of casing is welded on and the auger boring continues. This is repeated until the exit pit is reached on the other side.
